We spent this Christmas in California and boy, was it a good one!  There were many firsts; here are the top ten:

1.  Nathaniel’s first airplane trip
2.  Lydia’s extended family’s first time seeing Nathaniel
3.  Nathaniel’s first time seeing the Pacific Ocean
4.  Nathaniel’s attempt at saying 2 words
5.  Nathaniel’s first carousel ride
6.  Visiting the Wild Animal Park in San Diego, California
7.  Nathaniel’s first hike in the San Gabriel Mountains
8.  Sleeping in a pink and brown pack n’ play (it was borrowed)
9.  Belly Laughing for 2 minutes straight
10.  Seeing a waterfall
